Company Overview: Buzz Franchise Brands (BFB) is a rapidly expanding multi-brand franchising company. We seek a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic team at Wonderly Lights, specializing in outdoor lighting installations.
Position Overview: As a Technical Support Specialist at Buzz Franchise Brands, specifically supporting Wonderly Lights franchisees, you will be crucial in providing technical expertise and support for holiday, landscape, and permanent lighting solutions. This position requires candidates to have significant experience and be completely comfortable working on roofs, as you will actively participate in roof installations alongside franchisees.
Key Responsibilities:
Training and Development: Develop comprehensive training programs for Wonderly Lights franchisees, covering installation techniques, lighting design, electrical safety, and customer service best practices.
Technical Guidance: Provide ongoing technical support to franchisees, assisting with troubleshooting, product knowledge, and operational challenges related to holiday, landscape, and permanent lighting.
Documentation and Resources: Create and maintain technical manuals, installation guides, and troubleshooting resources to support franchisee education and operational excellence.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and inspections of franchisee operations to ensure compliance with Wonderly Lights' quality standards and operational procedures.
On-Roof Support: Lead by example and actively participate in roof installations alongside franchisees, demonstrating expert-level techniques and ensuring stringent safety protocols are followed.
Innovation and Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in lighting technology. Propose and implement enhancements to training programs and technical support processes.
Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with franchisees to resolve technical issues promptly and enhance customer satisfaction with lighting installations and services.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support or field operations management, ideally within the lighting or construction industry.
Demonstrated experience and complete comfort with working on roofs and heights, showing a solid commitment to safety and best practices.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, lighting design principles, and installation methods.
Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly and effectively.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering superior service and support to franchisees.
Willingness to travel to conduct on-site support and training sessions at franchisee locations.
