The Role
The Application Specialist is a pivotal role within Versaterm, serving as a LIMS Product Line (formerly JusticeTrax) expert. This position ensures the seamless integration and functionality of the JusticeTrax applications for customers, bridging technical expertise with client support to foster trust and engagement. Strategically, the role is critical in enhancing product adoption, improving customer satisfaction, and driving business value by optimizing customer workflows. This role supports Versaterm's strategic goals by maintaining high standards in customer service and product quality, ultimately strengthening the company's market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide frontline technical support and triaging customer inquiries
- Manage and resolve issues through detailed investigation and escalation
- Offer product education and create user-centric knowledge resources
- Contribute to product development feedback and documentation accuracy
- Leverage excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with customers and effectively convey complex technical concepts.
- Solve problems using advanced organizational and time-management abilities
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Forensic Science, or a related field
- Forensic Laboratory experience and prior use of at least one JusticeTrax product are required
- Working knowledge of the creation and configuration of Crystal Reports
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
