Dental Office Manager

About Us: We are seeking a warm and organized Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Crowns Now Family office in Greenville. Join our friendly dental family where patient care and employee satisfaction are our top priorities.

Summary: The Practice Manager is a key contributor to the development and success of the practice. This role is responsible for revenue management, business administration, employee organization, and daily operations. It involves detecting and solving organizational problems to ensure the practice runs smoothly and profitably.
Essential Tasks:
Ensure smooth operation of practice activities including staffing, payroll, patient care, computer systems, and financial management.
Plan, coordinate, and administer clinical and non-clinical policies and processes.
Monitor practice goals such as accounts receivable/payable, patient flow, and production goals.
Ensure adherence to the Straine Management System, including team meetings and action plan reviews.
Implement directives for company growth.
Ensure fees are posted accurately and updated annually.
Non-Essential Tasks:
Assist office staff with phones, appointments, and clinical/lab duties as needed.
Assist with legal and financial issues affecting the practice.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Supervisory Tasks:
Monitor and ensure high levels of patient care and job efficiency.
Develop and maintain an effective team through selection, training, review, and motivation of staff.
Conduct performance appraisals and administer training programs.
Coordinate continuing education for clinical personnel.
Provide guidance and direction to staff for professional development and policy adherence.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years of management/supervisory experience in a dental practice or related field. Experience with Eaglesoft software and dental insurance required.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong written and oral communication.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and planning abilities.
Professionalism and time management.
Proficiency in math, project management, budgeting, computer literacy, problem-solving, and negotiations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervise up to five employees.
Responsibilities include hiring, training, planning, directing work, appraising performance, and resolving problems.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, write, and present information clearly and effectively.
Math Ability:
Ability to perform basic math operations and interpret data accurately.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in word processing and dental software.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Physical Demands:
Regular use of hands, standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing.
Occasionally lifting and moving up to 20 pounds.
