The Product Support position is responsible for communicating with the customer and troubleshooting any issues they may be having with the software related to installation, upgrades, and other general support. This job however involves very little travel and most of it is done over the phone. Down the road, there could be more travel involved as product is used in more and more hospitals. 2.) Involved in capturing, investigating, and assisting in resolution of customer support issues. (Secondary) Familiarity with products in order to process customer cases and perform verification testing for product development. Needs to have a basic understanding of IT principles like IP addresses, use of firewalls; familiarity with basic configuration of operating systems (Windows required, Linux desired); familiarity with Office applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook) as tools for communication and documentation. Experience with computers on network, reading/updating technical documents; Preferred experience in healthcare IT environment exposure, DICOM familiarity, scripting language familiarity (e.g. Python), Java familiarity, software development and/or testing experience especially medical products.
