270417- Ultrasound Technologist - Hilo, HI - 13 Weeks Contract

Sigma Healthcare staffing is currently looking for Ultrasound Tech to work onsite at contracted facilities in Hilo.

Shift: Variable

Job Responsibilities:
  • Must be competent to proficient in: Abdomen (Aorta, IVC, Liver/Biliary, Pancreas, Spleen, and Renal. Both normal and Pathology).
  • GYN (breast, ovaries, Adnexa, Uterus, Pelvis. Pathology and normal, post-menopausal, transvaginal, adult and pediatric).
  • OB (1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester, amniocentesis, complications, biophysical profile, gestational age, placental grading, abnormalities, IGUR, Uterus/Adnexa).
Procedures to include:
  • Aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative. Neonatal (congenital anomalies and neonatal head).
  • Superficial structures (Abdominal wall, breast, focal masses, hematoma, scrotum & testes, thyroid.
  • Vascular (Carotid duplex, segmental pressure studies, upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex).
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept:
  • Canon i700; Meditech EMR, Fuji Synapse PACS
Job Qualifications:
  • Min 3 years experience in an acute hospital setting.
  • Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required.
  • ARDMS in 2 specialties: Abdomen, OB, or vascular.
  • Active HI state license.
  • Active BLS - must be AHA
  • Floating to other units/departments.
  • Ultrasound Cardiac, OB/GYN and small part, and Vascular.
