Paramedic (PMD) - Orlando

The Paramedic is responsible for assisting with vaccinations in the Orlando area. As well as responsible for assisting with patient care including, processing point of care tests, providing breaks for other staff as needed. Responsible for supplies and equipment maintenance such as assembling, packaging, and delivering of PPE, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Back-up relief for all staff positions as needed.
- Assembles supplies (PPE, Test kits, etc.) and delivers as necessary
- Must have the ability to lift 40lbs. and stand for long periods of time
- Performing vaccinations
OTHER PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Other duties that may arise from time-to-time and/or are commensurate with the title and position.
Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Current Florida License/certification
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- Recent clinical experience (within 6 months)
- Positive, enthusiastic with high customer service orientation
- Flexible, adaptable, willing to jump in and do what is needed.
- Able to wear PPE for extended periods of time without restriction.
- Able to work in a fast- paced environment.
- Professional appearance: clean uniform and shoes, hair is well groomed.
- Natural nails.
- Must be punctual.
- Professional, friendly, and business-like conduct
- Understanding and acceptance that the job has inherent risk of exposure to Covid positive patients.
- Full compliance with all CDC and company regulations
- Full immunization record must be presented before hire, Covid vaccine not included.
- BLS and ACLS certificates
- Bilingual (Highly Preferred not Required)
Schedule
- Day Shift - 8am - 5pm (subject to change)
- Open Monday through Friday
