We are recruiting a Warehouse Associate to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have experience in order selection, inventory management, sorting, staging, and forklift operations. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in all aspects of product movement within the warehouse, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of goods.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Product Movement: Assist in the loading and unloading of bulk trucks, box trucks, and packaged goods. Reconcile paperwork for all products received and loaded to maintain accuracy in inventory records.
  2. Order Preparation: Prepare orders by processing requests and delivery tickets, pulling materials, and loading barrels, totes, or other packaging items. Place orders in the delivery staging area for efficient distribution.
  3. Inventory Management: Sort and place inventory on appropriate racks, shelves, or bins according to organizational standards. Utilize hand sorting techniques or forklift operation as necessary. Assist in physical inventory counting and periodic cycle counts to ensure ongoing accuracy.
  4. Work Environment Maintenance: Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat and orderly. Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, pressure washing, and degreasing to uphold warehouse and dock cleanliness standards.
  5. Safety Compliance: Wear all the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while operating equipment and machinery. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and others.
  1. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support warehouse operations and meet business needs.

Job Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, including order selection, inventory management, and forklift operation.
  • Ability to accurately reconcile paperwork and maintain inventory records.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to warehouse operations.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay Rate: $18.00/Hour - $20.00/Hour
Schedule: 7:00AM-4:00PM Monday-Friday
