Education & Qualifications: Must be 16 years of age and have a valid PA Driver’s License, Current Pennsylvania State EMR and CPR certifications are required. Must abide by Pennsylvania State Department of Health/EMS Division, BLS Protocols and the Scope of Practice for Emergency Medical Responders under PA Code. Must be able to lift up to 200 lbs. on occasion. Must be able to communicate clearly, maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor when interacting with team members and guests. Must be able to work with others or independently, have basic math skills, operate a POS system and keep accurate incident and injury documentation. Must maintain a well -groomed appearance at all times.

Essential Functions:

  • Administer prescribed first aid treatment at the site of an emergency for injured individuals.
  • Abide by the Pennsylvania State Basic Life Support (BLS) Protocols.
  • Only perform skills identified under PA Code 1023.24 through 1023.30, the scope of practice for EMR’s.
  • Abide by the operation policies and procedures of the department.
  • Adhere to Federal and State Laws and company policies.
  • Provide excellent guest service and positive guest relations with guests and team members.
  • Assist guest with the mobility program rentals.
  • Maintains the facilities and equipment in the First Aid Department. This includes, but is not limited to the operation and inspection of department equipment, and cleanliness.
  • Abide by the cash management policy within the department.
  • Adhere to and promote safety policies and programs within the company. Report any safety issues to the Department Director or Chief Operating Officer if the director is not available.
  • Address and handle guest issues and complaints when necessary.
  • Must work in various weather and environmental conditions including but not limited to direct or indirect sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail, cold.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality.
  • Report to and from work at assigned time.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Must be honest and reliable.
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and assist co-workers on an ongoing basis.
  • Adhere to dress code policy.
  • Maintain an organized department and work environment.
