A real estate company in the Valley is looking for a Senior Accountant to add to their team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for treasury, cash management and reconciliation, and supporting GL accounting as well. To be successful in this role, the Senior Accountant will need to have strong knowledge in accounting, great communication skills, be able to present to senior leadership, and be detail-oriented. What do you need for this Senior Accountant role?

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field

• 5 years of accounting experience

• Advanced Excel

• Industry experience would be great but not necessary

What will you do in this Senior Accountant role?

• Prepare and process AR for billing, and analyze aging and write off reports

• Collect late payments and fees

• Set up and maintain new customers

• Payment history reporting

• Cash journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting

• Wires and analyze cash

• Communicate with the bank around credit borrowing and payoffs

• Prepare schedules for GL accounts

• Maintain and reconcile fixed assets and deprecation

• Inventory reporting and counts

• Prepare rent, loan amortization, and notes receivable interest schedules

• Assist with month-end close, internal controls, and the audit
