MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent; required Completion of LPN training program and licensed as an LPN in the state of Oklahoma; required Strong clinical skills and competency in ambulatory care setting; preferred Strong interest in working with an interdisciplinary health team and culturally diverse patient population Strong written and communication skills Strong working knowledge in computer systems; such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and/or lift for extended periods of time CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Assistant Director of Nursing RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform routine intake procedures including, but not limited to, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, and blood pressure readings Assist medical providers with examination and treatment of patients Provide assistance with administrative procedures required, including patient referral, charting and documentation of activities and phone calls Follows protocols and performs accurate and thorough work ups and check-ins of all patients Demonstrate teamwork and commitment to quality patient care Demonstrates the ability to effectively organize and prioritize work and utilize available resources to assist with efficient patient flow in the clinic. Actively assists with routine clinic tasks.
