Essential Functions:
  • The Beach Manager is leading the beach team.
  • This person is responsible for the business performance of the beach area.
  • Beach Management combines strategic planning and day-to-day management activities.
  • Managing and coordinating various recreational programs and events to ensure an enjoyable experience for our guests.
  • Develop and implement recreational programs and activities for guests of all ages.
  • Manager the daily operations of recreational facilities including scheduling, maintenance, and cleanliness.
  • Coordinate special events such as holiday celebrations, and themed parties.
  • Supervise recreation staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols for all recreational activities
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
  • Prepare reports on recreational activities, and attendance.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Professional communication skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication sills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Proficiency in shift management and scheduling
  • Ability to hand cash transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Previous experience in a resort or hospitality setting is a plus
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and train staff members
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office - MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Stand Up Meetings with staff
  • Provide general public assistance, instruction and/or guidance for guests and staff
  • Other duties assigned
Experience:
  • Lifeguard: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Supervising experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Management: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Guest services: 2 years (Preferred)
Availability:
  • Must be available to work, days, evenings, weekends, & holidays


Physical Aspects of Position includes but not limited to
• Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions, such as heat, cold and/or rain

Grooming/Uniforms
• All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
