Production Operator

Career Strategy Consultants is seeking Production employees with an Electrical background for full-time positions with Ohio Coatings Company in Yorkville, OH. This position will be responsible for performing installation, maintenance, modification, refurbishment, cleaning, troubleshooting, repair, adjustment, calibration, and operation of various fixed systems. These positions offer a very generous hourly pay rate, 100% paid benefits, quarterly bonus incentive, vacation and paid holidays.

Rotational Schedule: Rotation is weekly with occasional weekends -- 3rd, 2nd, 1st, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, etc. Currently on 20 turn schedule.

Shift Hours: 1st (6a-2p), 2nd (2p-10p), 3rd (10p-6a)

Knowledge & Skills Preferred:

  • 2 year technical degree in a similar field
  • Knowledge of basic stick welding
  • Knowledge of basic hydraulics
  • Ability to perform pipefitting
  • 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency
  • Remove or shift materials and/or finished products to facilitate proper flow
  • Ensure package and product quality
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Operate all manufacturing equipment (including new technologies) efficiently and safely
  • Clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift
  • Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping practices
  • Expedite repairs to line, working with maintenance as necessary
  • Keep daily records of down time and machine operations
  • Work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere
  • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
