Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center in Pensacola, FL (East 9 Mile Rd) is hiring a PRN - As Needed Physical Therapist (PT) with a minimum of 1 yr experience Our center is minutes away from the University of West Florida on the beautiful Gulf Coast. Join our team of 2 PTs, 3 PTAs and 1 OT treating a dynamic orthopedic caseload. Our center specializes in physical therapy and pelvic floor rehab for men and women in addition to treating a variety of orthopedic diagnoses ranging of post-operative joint replacements, rotator cuff repairs, cervical and lumbar pain as well as a variety of sprains. This clinic provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, and pelvic floor rehab for men and women.
Work Schedule: As Needed Mon - Fri
Compensation: Starting at $45/hr. Starting hourly rate increases with experience.
Responsibilities- Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
- Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
- Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
- Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
- Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.
- Must be a graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited school of physical therapy
- Valid State Physical Therapy License/ Registration REQUIRED to start
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
