  • Supervise and manage the overall operations of the nursing team during shifts, ensuring appropriate staffing and delegation of responsibilities.
  • Provide leadership and support to nursing staff, resolving issues, and addressing patient concerns as needed.
  • Collaborate with department leaders, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth operations and continuity of care.
  • Monitor patient care quality and safety, implementing improvements when necessary to ensure excellent outcomes.
  • Assist in admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and policies.
Candidate requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) with relevant experience. Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
