The Dosimetrist performs brachytherapy treatment plans and preplanning procedures for external beam treatment. Participates in the acquisition of pertinent patient physical construct, as needed, for dosimetry planning and participates in the quality assurance of the integrity of patients' treatment charts.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Collaborate with a team of medical professionals to develop radiation treatment plans for patients.
  • Proficiency in using ARIA, Eclipse, RayStation, Precision, and MIM
  • Create and optimize treatment plans for various treatment techniques, including 3D, VMAT, IMRT, MERT, SRS, SRT, Protons, and SBRT.
  • Ensure accurate dose calculations and delivery, adhering to prescribed guidelines and protocols.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • New grads are welcome, while a minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred for experienced candidates.
  • Certification as a Medical Dosimetrist is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the medical team and support staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
