Job Summary ABC is seeking skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team. Position Overview:

  • Specializing in community integration to achieve functional outcomes for children and families

Responsibilities

Meet with patients for the first time in their speech journey, answering introductory questions

Diagnose and treat speech, language, feeding, reading, and social communication disorders.

Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.

Educate patients and family members about speech disorders, causes, and treatment options.

Adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes

Maintain excellent records of patient needs, care, and outcome

Work closely with patients, their families, and their educators to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success

Supervise a speech and language assistant.

Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.

Participate in team building and activities to promote the growth of the clinic.

Qualifications

Active or provisional state license for practicing speech therapy

Master's degree and Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellow

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational skills

Passion for helping children

Positive outlook about profession

Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite
