Description

We are seeking a Breast Sonographer (PRN) to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. In this role, you will conduct breast ultrasound studies and ultrasound-guided core biopsies in an outpatient setting. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality customer service and image quality.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform breast ultrasound exams following established protocols and in a timely manner
  • Competently work with GE Logiq E9
  • Conduct DEXA exams
  • Take patient history and retrieve necessary orders or prior images
  • Provide patient history/signs/symptoms to the radiologist
  • Complete documentation accurately
  • Coordinate patient flow and ensure all exams are complete
  • Inform patients about procedures and answer questions
  • Interact and communicate professionally with physicians
  • Maintain all required licenses, certifications, and accreditations
  • Ensure departmental work areas are clean and stocked
  • Participate in quality and performance improvement plans
  • Demonstrate knowledge of care appropriate to the ages of patients served
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited RDMS or ARRT program
  • ARDMS or ARRT (SON) registered or registry eligible
  • 6 months post-graduate experience with breast ultrasound preferred
  • BLS certification required
