KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and keep their production area clean and organized and any perform other general housekeeping needed.
• Verify that all material on their machine is correct according to customer's specifications and can identify products by disposition tags.
• Responsible for producing in-spec product and held accountable for all products that are made on his/her shift.
• Accurately fill out and process all required paperwork and perform hourly quality checks on products.
• Make small adjustments on his/her machine.
• Making sure his/her machine is running at optimum speeds at all times.
• Able to change both top and bottom blades and also tweaking the blades if necessary.
• Make all adjustments on the machine to include setting plows for folds and adjust slitters as necessary.
• Monitor waste daily and try to keep it at a minimum. If levels are high he/she should contact the Production Supervisor.
• Able to perform some maintenance on the rewinders.
• Gives the Materials Manager or Material Handlers adequate notice of any changes of jobs so they may have it set-up prior to starting.
• Report any problems or unsafe conditions to the Production Supervisor.
• Follow all established policies and safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma
