The Shipping/Receiving and Distribution associate for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for optimization of market through proper sizing of Kanban items using Danaher Dynamic Kanban Calculator to ensure proper sizing recommendations are established, disposition and ordering of Expired Material to avoid stockouts and improve OTD, E&O scrap disposition of non-moving inventory stocked for MFG. as well as Service support, document filing and storage coordination with "Iron Mountain"

This position is part of the Materials and Planning located in Miami Florida and is on site. Our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Materials and Planning Dept. and report to the Materials Manager responsible for Shipping/Receiving & Distribution responsible for Receiving, Stockroom and logistics. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Verifying the accuracy of orders upon delivery
  • Inspecting the condition of products
  • Updating records and databases (Oracle) with received items
  • Reporting any discrepancies
The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Warehousing/Receiving Experience
  • Simple Lean Mfg. experience, in 5s, FIFO, Dynamic Kanban, 3P,
  • High School degree or equivalent with 0-2yrs experience
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Manufacturing Environment
  • Order fulfillment in a (Medical device) environment
