DESCRIPTION:
The Secretary II will maintain daily communication with parents, schools, bus drivers, and the general public. Coordination with other school districts will be essential for inter-district student transportation. The position requires meticulous record-keeping of daily changing bus routes and vigilant review of computer-generated bus lists for accuracy. Additionally, the Secretary II will be responsible for filing and maintaining street directories. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Secretary I, and the Director of Transportation, and will perform various clerical duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, a team player, and able to multitask. They will provide courteous and efficient customer service and possess strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with school personnel, vendors, and the public. Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel, Word, and Google Suite, and the ability to learn financial software (Naviline), PowerSchool, Transfnder, special transportation software, and other district systems is essential.
SALARY:
$36,545.60 for the first year
