Clinical Cardiologist
We are seeking a Clinical Cardiologist to join our team and play a crucial role in providing direct patient care and assessments in an ambulatory health care center setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various cardiovascular ailments, conducting physical exams, developing care plans, providing health education, and participating in clinical rounds and conferences. This position offers opportunities for leadership and administrative duties, as well as involvement in quality and performance improvement initiatives. The candidate must possess thorough knowledge of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage for results.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care
- Leading a cardiovascular care team
- Assisting in managing clinical and business operations
- Participating in risk and quality management programs
Requirements:
- Board certification, or Board eligible, in Cardiology
- Current, valid license to practice medicine including DEA license
- BLS certification required, ACLS certification strongly preferred
- Experience supervising providers and clinical staff
- Experience working in a managed care environment strongly preferred
