What You’ll Do
  • Take patient vitals, administer injections, collect health information, administer medication, and document in the ECR effectively
  • Coordinate patient scheduling, prior authorizations, maintain confidentiality and successfully collaborate with pharmacies, other nursing staff and patients to ensure the highest quality of care
  • Be a part of a collaborative team of medical professionals in a work environment that can sometimes be stressful and that sees a variety of groups of people. You must be an effective communicator and always be working towards your personal and professional growth in this position

  • Full-Time, Exempt
  • Pay Range is between $66,445 to $85,990
  • Student Loan Repayment and Tuition Assistance is Available – Professional Growth is encouraged
  • AKBH offers generous benefits including two healthcare options for employees and their dependent children, 401k with immediate vesting and up to 5% match, 3% automatically contributed by AKBH, 5 weeks of PTO the first year increasing to 8 weeks the second year; and 10 paid holidays.
What We Need from You
  • You have a current Practical Nurse license for the state of Alaska
  • You are comfortable with EMR usage and are a fast learner with computer programs
