Intensive Care Registered Nurse in Auburn, NY

A facility in Auburn, NY is looking for an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN). The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Charge and travel experience (Charge may be required)
- Willingness to float to Med Surg units when needed
- At least 2 years of ICU experience (experienced and charge capable preferred)
- AHA NIH certification
- 6 continuing education hours (CEUs) on Stroke-related topics prior to start
The facility has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts at no cost during the duration of the 13-week assignment.

Unit Details
10-bed Critical Care unit. RN:PT Ratio is 1:2. Charting: Allscripts/Paragon/Clientkesson. PEDS cases may come in but are rare. We use 2 Servo vents and the rest are LTVs at this time. We have vapotherm and V60 bipaps. We schedule a minimum of 3 nurses per shift. Our shifts for RNs are 7a-7p and 7p-7a. Responsibilities include managing vents, drips, arterial lines, central lines, and codes.
