HVAC Service Technician | $40-45/HR

Job Description
Response to service calls, scheduled maintenance and repairs for refrigeration and mechanical equipment;
·  Perform diagnostics to detect malfunctions and defects in equipment;
·  Install and braze equipment;
·  Troubleshoot to ensure the system is functioning properly following repairs;
·  Learn and perform proper service practices;
·  Effectively communicate and update all information regarding assignments to the team;
·  Assist in building service area and region;
·  Provide own basic tools for the trade;
·  Build and maintain positive relationship with customers or clients

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
  • On-call availability is offered but not required.

Preferred Candidate Experience and Job Information:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 4 years of HVAC Service Technician experience required (installation experience not necessary).
    • Work will be approximately 70% residential and 30% commercial.
    • Experience servicing forced air systems in residential homes and rooftop units in commercial settings is required.
    • Experience with mini-split systems is a plus.

  • Certifications:

    • Any HVAC certifications are preferred. Ideal candidates will have their EPA certification.

Background Check:Required

Drug Screening: Required, including a 10-panel screen with marijuana. A positive test is acceptable with a medical card.

Driving Record/MVR Check: Required
