Registration Representative

Job Description

The Registration Representative ensures that the registration of patients is accurate in order to receive reimbursement from payers and is responsible for accurate data entry. They contact patients based on pre-established work files to update and confirm current insurances as well as review current eligibility of patients via telephone or online with appropriate carrier. They also maintain accurate and current insurance files for FFS patients.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent typing skills and strong communication skills
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in registration, insurance billing, or other related health care jobs is a plus.
