WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
  • Responsible for the maintenance storeroom and all other racking and storage locations of machine spare parts.
  • Receive, unpack, label, and store incoming parts for the storeroom.
  • Tags, labels, and tracks all machine components built into the inventory software
  • Assists the maintenance department in locating needed items in inventory
  • Enters, updates, and maintains master data for all spare parts
  • Helps develop and enforce storeroom policies and procedures for receiving, issuing, and returning items
  • Assists maintenance technicians in identifying needed materials or parts using various existing manuals, programs, or online search tools.
  • Continuous improvement of inventory stock levels to support the facility (max/min, cycle counts, etc.)
  • Creates purchase requisitions/POs to support maintenance and production teams.
  • Palletizing or packaging of rebuild items, large rolls, crates, tools, parts, or other items for shipment.
  • Receive and deliver special order parts to personnel throughout the facility (maintenance, engineering, production, quality, technical, IT, etc.)
  • Develop working relationships with our vendors to improve service and ensure familiarity with product lines.

Shift/Schedule:
  • Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Compensation:
  • Starting wage at $22.00
OUR SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ensure that safety and health concerns are given primary consideration in all activities
  • Follows company guidelines and actively participates in all safety processes
  • Carry out job/area specific housekeeping duties and maintain a high standard of professionalism
  • Look for, report, and correct any near misses/unsafe conditions or behaviors as soon as possible
  • Produce quality materials to be distributed to customers
  • Maintain production volume and efficiency
  • Identify needed changes and make recommendations - find a better way
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, requesting supervisor assistance when needed
OUR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Fork truck and scissors lift certified or capable of getting certification
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Some form of CMMS, inventory software experience, auto parts store or any parts stocking, or any relatable experience required
  • Basic understanding of warehouse/storage layout considered a plus
  • Demonstrate skills in organization, attention to details, setting priorities and sound decision making
  • Strong work and personal ethics
  • Effectively communicate and work alongside company personnel on all levels ranging from production workers to upper management
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Work
  • A strong understanding of our safety mission and its importance

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member frequently is required to use arms to reach and hands to handle or feel. The team member must be able to lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. Must be able to climb stairs and work safely around numerous hot surfaces and rotating equipment.
  • Team members are also required to frequently talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Team members in this role are exposed to seasonal temperature/humidity changes that can be near 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
