We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our team
Pharmacist at Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic and Spine Hospital – Arlington:
· The Pharmacist is responsible for daily operations, personnel management and regulatory compliance of pharmacy services for the facility, when on duty without the Director being present
· This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.
· The Pharmacist communicates the needs of the department to The Director of the Department and collaborates with medical staff regarding prescriptive issues and therapy recommendations.
· The Pharmacist supports management team in meeting facility goals.

Required Skills

· Current license to practice pharmacy.
· IV Certification (ACPE certified)

Required Experience
** Required Experience:**
· ****Have two (2) to five (5) years hospital pharmacy experience.
· Demonstrate competent knowledge of the development needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
· Knowledge of Joint Commission and Medicare standards affecting pharmacy.
· Must possess ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
· Possess the ability to deal tactfully with all types of personnel, medical staff and the public.
· Possess the ability to make independent decisions.
· Must have ability to act as liaison between personnel and management.
