Description Senior Ultrasound Technologist - St Patrick Hospital-Broadway Bldg-Missoula, MT The Senior Registered Ultrasonographer is involved with the day-to-day Ultrasound Department operations located within Diagnostic Imaging. The sonographer requires minimal supervision, performs diagnostic medical sonograms both general and vascular, provides quality patient care, and assumes responsibility for all ultrasound services offered. This position works closely and communicates effectively with patients, coworkers, lead sonographer, manager, Radiologists, providers, and all other clinic/hospital staff to ensure the highest quality of care to our patients. The employee will assist the Core Leader in meeting department goals and objectives. Performs basic/complex general and vascular ultrasound exams and procedures and provides optimal assessment and diagnostic exams for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Shift Details: Per Diem, Variable shift, No Daily Overtime 40 Hour Week Required Qualifications: Graduate of an Ultrasound program accredited by the Joint Review Committee for Radiologic Technology Education (JRCRTE) or equivalent educ/experience Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Sonography or National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 3 years experience Preferred Qualifications: 5 years experience Why Join Providence?
