Q4 is looking for an ENTRY LEVEL PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN to provide mechanical support for Q4 product builds, including but not limited to visual displays, simulators, and the possibility of travel to customer sites as needed for installations and repairs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the disassembling and reassembling of visual displays and structures by utilizing system specific work instructions and engineered drawings. This will include the use of a variety of hand and shop tools to verify that assemblies fit together as designed.
- Use of proper PPE when working with or around equipment.
- Complete Safety and training courses in a timely manner.
- Organize and prepare the shop for production by
- Informing the manager when materials or tools need ordering
- Maintaining a clean organized work area
- Loading/offloading deliveries
- Properly maintaining tools and equipment.
- Pack, palletize and inventory product for shipment utilizing drawings, procedures and Inventory BOMs.
- Perform miscellaneous projects as required.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of basic hand tools including pop rivets, drilling, reading a tape measure, power tools, drill press and saws (band saw, jig saw and other wood cutting equipment). Ability to convert from standard to metric using a calculator or chart.
- 1-2 years’ experience with hand tools, power tools and or fabrication either through work, training or technical school.
- High School Diploma
- Must have the flexibility to work overtime both planned and unplanned to meet company goals and ability for travel
- After training, this position has the potential for travel up to 50% both domestic and international.
