We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac Unit team. As a Cardiac Unit RN, you will independently plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using standards of care, policy, and procedure. You will provide direct nursing care to patients, assume teaching and leadership responsibilities, and participate in shared decision making, unit committees, and quality improvement activities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement plans for patient care Coordinate care delivery Provide patient teaching to promote health and safety Evaluate progress toward outcomes Practice ethically and integrate evidence-based practice Communicate effectively and demonstrate leadership Utilize appropriate resources for safe and effective nursing services

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Intermediate computer knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows
