Job Title: Medical Assistant Job Description This vital position supports dermatologists during patient visits by promoting a friendly and efficient environment. Responsibilities include accompanying the dermatologist in the room, rooming patients, documenting vital information, scribing for the dermatologist, providing post-op wound care, drawing blood, removing sutures, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, and scheduling patient appointments. Additionally, the Medical Assistant assists in various dermatological procedures such as surgical photographs, biopsies, excisions, electrodessication and curettage, and more. Hard Skills Medical Assistant Certification Experience in dermatology Proficiency in stocking and cleaning exam rooms Ability to assist in dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and phototherapy Soft Skills Strong communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work extended hours Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Salisbury, Maryland.
