Job Duties: Principal Product Owner with Greensky Management Company LLC in Atlanta, Georgia. Perform system analysis and testing to define project requirements. Utilize agile framework to elicit requirements, documents project user stories, and create project acceptance criteria. Create new technical and functional designs. Define and document portfolio epics, feature definitions and project roadmap. Create screen mockups/wireframes, use-cases, flow diagrams. Design data exchange techniques between servers/systems and articulate that functionality into a functional/technical design. Create process and data flow diagrams, developing, documenting and maintaining operational policies and procedures, including designing and documenting detailed process flows. Write advanced SQL queries to define operational performance, metric standards and create reports for analysis. Collaborate with project stakeholders (internal and external) in order to define scope, collect and manage requirements, and translate those requirements into technical and functional design specifications. Lead and participate in scrum ceremonies, Backlog creation/refinement, project demos and project retrospectives. Conduct Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions/focus groups for stakeholders. Participate and perform story point estimates and backlog grooming. Reports to the Atlanta, GA office. May work fully remote from any U.S. location.
Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a Programmer or Systems Analyst role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a Programmer or Systems Analyst role. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with: working with technology and business teams to incorporate and solidify input from key stakeholders across software applications utilizing BABOK principles, Agile methodologies, Kanban, SCRUM, and the agile tools JIRA and Atlassian Confluence; designing and authoring user interface specifications, user experience low fidelity wireframes, process flow diagrams, use cases, flow charts, user stories, and advanced database management systems' data flows using data interoperability techniques; conducting technical research, joint application design sessions for software applications and business operations to convert business use cases to system and functional requirements; creating application data specifications by collaborating cross functionally with business intelligence leaders, database developers, technology managers, quality engineers and other stakeholders; developing requirements for application programming interface (API) specifications in FinTech and Hi-tech domains and ensuring functioning backend APIs using Postman software application; designing and writing SQL queries using Microsoft SQL studio and Oracle for data flows; performing data analysis with gathered data points for insight and implementation using Tableau data visualization tool; working on business intelligence projects using Snowflake for aggregating and maintaining data in cloud ecosystem using data interoperability techniques; and working in the Fintech and Payments industry. Certified Scrum Product Owner license required. Domestic travel required 10% of the time.
