MedPro Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Long Term Acute Care RN Travel Nurse.

  • 13 week contract
  • 40 hours per week
  • Day shifts
  • Starting ASAP
  • Requires active RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications
  • Experience with Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes and able to read Tele-strips

As part of the LTAC unit, Long Term Acute Care Nurses (RN) are responsible for caring for patients who require extended medical care. Duties include:

  • Provide care for 5-6 patients
  • Monitor and administer medications (orally, subcutaneously, and through an IV)
  • Educate patients and family on surgical processes and how to manage their illness/injury
  • Use computer equipment to monitor vital information
  • Start IV's and draw blood
