Overview

Occupational Therapist (OT) / Certified Hand Therapist (CHT): Lakeshore Bone & Joint - Schererville

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Salary starts at $80k/yr. commensurate with experience.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday - 8:00am-5:00pm. Tuesday & Friday - 8:00am-2:00pm

Work setting: Outpatient Clinic

Location: 833 W. Lincoln Hwy. Suite 110E. Schererville, IN 46375

Lakeshore Bone & Joint - Schererville is seeking an experienced Hand Therapist with experience in orthosis fabrication and shoulder rehabilitation. Responsibilities
  • Developing individualized treatment plans for patients
  • Close communication with referral sources
  • Outlining clear goals for patients and the expected outcomes of the plan
  • Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury
  • Strong documentation skills recording patients' progress and modifying the plan of care as needed
  • Educating patients and family members about the recovery process
Qualifications
  • Post-Op/Post Injury splinting experience.
  • Indiana license as an Occupational Therapist or ability to obtain license.
  • Certified Hand Therapy credentialing preferred and/or willing to support a CHT track.
