The Certified Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood specimens and assisting with basic lab analysis. This role may require weekend, holiday, and on-call availability.

Requirements:

• Certified phlebotomist preferred
• CPR certification
• Completion of phlebotomy training course
• Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements:

• Good visual acuity and communication ability
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Manual dexterity to operate office equipment

Skills and Abilities:

• Effective communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently

Environment:

• Indoor, temperature-controlled environment
• Potential exposure to blood and body fluids
• May work under stressful circumstances

Proficiency Standards:

• Adherence to attendance and dress code standards
• Ability to work varying shifts if needed
• May be required to work during disaster situations
