This person will be acting in both capacities to help support some additional projects for a client of ours headquartered in San Antonio, TX. This is a contract to hire role and although remote you must reside in Texas. We are looking for candidates that meet the following requirements: Bachelors Degree or equivalent industry experience 5-8 years of experience managing, independently, implementations of large projects greater than $5 million and an effort of over 10,000 hours to include 4+ years of experience on software development teams, plus at least 4 years' experience as a Scrum Master working with multiple Agile teams (please note your experience can be 50/50 Project Management vs Scrum Master) Knowledge of Project Management disciplines Knowledge of Software development lifecycle Effective communication and collaboration skills strong organizational skills Demonstrated proficiency in the application of Agile frameworks and practices Proven ability to manage and mentor development teams effectively Excellent interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving skills Ability to effectively present ideas, facilitate meetings and discussions, and design and lead training workshops Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft computer applications A CSM/PSM, A-CSM, or CSP-SM certification location: San Antonio, Texas job type: Contract salary: $65 - 70 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: responsible for coordinating the implementation of business systems in support of Lines of Business programs. Responsibilities will include developing the project charter, capacity, effort and cost estimates, resource requirements, work break down structure, and schedule scheduling resources on tasks, status update meetings, and working sessions; conducting reviews and tracking the progress of the project reporting and presenting to the project stakeholders monitoring the vendor deliverables and service level agreements for the project developing risk assessment, risk mitigations/responses, documentation of issues, assigning issues, and tracking issues to closure following and enhancing established Project Management methodology, deliverables, standards, and procedures and utilization of project budget by developing capital expenditures and reviewing and approving invoices.
