This is a per diem non-benefited position (No set hours, days, or shifts). This position has variable shifts and hours including weekends and holidays.
Under the immediate direction of the Lead and Supervisor, the registration specialist is competent in insurance verification and performs specific routines, ensuring that each admission conforms to the defined policies and procedures. Registration Specialist is cross-trained to perform duties of PBX Operator and assists in deposit functions and incoming/outgoing mail. Performs related tasks as required. Interacts with infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in an age appropriate manner.
