The Application Developer, Full Stack role will be responsible for supporting the broader process of developing and deploying enhancements and/or new applications used in local, networked, cloud-based or internet-related computer programs. They will use their experience in programming languages, tools, and delivery models, in conjunction with their methodology expertise to collaborate with various stakeholders and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and solutions. This role requires a developing understanding of programming languages, tools, and delivery models, as well as the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. The incumbent will work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including project teams, business analysts, and end-users, to ensure the development process is running smoothly. Ultimately, the incumbent will contribute to ensuring the organization's software applications are effective, efficient, and provide a seamless experience for the end-users. Validate system requirements and assist with the development of detailed software programming specifications Write, review, and optimize code and collaborate with the senior engineers using current programming languages Collaborate with the team to create documentation and procedures for the installation and maintenance of software Engage various stakeholders such as users, developers, and project managers to address project concerns and ensure that stakeholder expectations are considered throughout the development process Participate in ongoing learning, attend relevant workshops or training, and share emerging technologies and programming languages knowledge with the team This position is not eligible for sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, including conversion to H1-B visa. This position has a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office and the option for working remotely two days. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Education Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or in lieu of a degree, at least 3 years of experience in application development or application engineering Skills and Experience Required Knowledge & Experience 2-4 years of experience in software development, specifically in application development engineering Familiarity in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Ruby Experience in software development tools such as Git or Jenkins Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional team Technical Skills Database Management Systems Front-End Development Tools Programming Languages Cloud Technologies & Platforms Data Analysis Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Methodology Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Front-End Coding Languages Web Services & APIs Systems Integration Software Testing & Quality Assurance Methodologies & Tools Automated Testing Tools Containerization Version Control Tools Preferred Experience with Vue.js Experience with Spring Boot Sherwin-Williams is proud to be an Affirmative Action, Equal Employment Opportunity, Inclusion and Diversity Supportive Employer.
