OB Tech - Women's Health

~Full Time & Night Shift~

Sign on bonus for qualified candidates

Minimum Qualifications:

  • TS - Trade School Graduate - Surgical Technology
  • 3 years Operating Room experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - Other/National
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Certification
  • Licensed Surgical Technologist - Virginia

Job Summary

Implements plan of care for specific patient population. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care in the peri-operative environment.

May substitute training in operating room procedures from military or vocational training program.
Applicants enrolled in a program leading to Certification as a Surgical Technologist or is in a career track leading to the same preferred. Knowledge of Aseptic Techniques and maintaining sterile environments preferred.

Qualifications:

TS - Trade School Graduate: Surgical Technologist Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Certifications - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Operating Room
