Requirements:
  • MN license
  • Minimum 2+ year of L&D/Mother Baby required
  • BSN or ADN required
  • AHA BLS
  • NRP
  • AWHONN/Fetal Hearth Monitoring required
  • Travel Experience preferred
  • AHA ACLS (preferred, not required)
  • EMR: Cerner
Other details:
  • Desired Specific Skillset for an ideal candidate: OB triage experience, antepartum, intra-partum and post partum care.  Newborn cares for level 1 nursery.  Skills r/t oxygen or IV therapy for the newborn as well
  • Unit Overview: 5 LDRP with nursery- most newborns room in with Mom, 250 deliveries/year, 2 experienced L&D RN’s per shift, C-Section’s are performed in the OR with the OR crew in attendance. The RN will attend the C-section to attend to the baby.
  • Current Patient Ratio: 1:1 in active labor, 1:2-3 couplets
  • Patient ratio 1:3-4. Mix of ages
  • 100 mile radius rule
  • Float as needed
  • Flu Vaccine 2023-2024
