In your role as a Process Controls Network Support Specialist, you will provides second level troubleshooting and non-standard maintenance of process control networks, plan and execute tasks associated with updates to process control hardware in-use across Olin, and leverage learning's from other plants and projects across the site..

Process Controls Network Support Specialist Essential Job Functions:

  • Follows existing procedures to maintain and update hardware across site.
  • Works with various subject matter experts (SME) to diagnose day-to-day hardware issues across site.
  • Assist with managing DCS spare equipment across site.
  • Assist cyber security SME with assessments or changes.
  • Maintains contact and working relationship with process owners to facilitate needed improvements in processes and procedures.
  • Provides excellent customer service and feedback on the status of issues.
Process Controls Network Support Specialist Minimum Requirements:
  • Must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
    • High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of relevant technical experience; OR
    • Bachelor's Degree*; Engineering discipline preferred
  • Experience with the design, layout, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure.
  • Experience and understanding of DeltaV or other commercial process control system, and with any MOD5 process control software or hardware.
  • Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages.
  • Experience in diverse areas of information technology / operational technology with a focus on application and hardware support preferred.
  • Must be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) and must possess a valid US driver's license.
  • Must be willing and able to travel
