Schedule: The therapist's schedule will be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, encompassing 185 days in the school calendar year, with possible additional days at the direction of the immediate supervisor.
Services Offered will include: Threat Assessments with Critical Follow-Up Individual Care Plans Mental Health Sessions Assigned Instead of Suspensions Individual/Group Sessions (Anxiety, Depression, Bullying) Consultation with Teachers for Behavior Modification Strategies and Student-Specific Support Diagnose In-House for Expedited 504 or Individual Education Plans Motivational Groups in collaboration with UCLA Continued Services for Kindergarten Students with Social Emotional Learning Crisis Management (Student Check-Ins) In-House Assessments for Smoking Cessation/Vaping/Alcohol with 3-5 Educational Hours Consultations with Parents/Guardians Staff Empowerment and Counseling Needs Additional Terms: The therapist will maintain regular communication with the school administration and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
Monthly report presented to the Board of Education will be required.
The therapist will be compensated at a rate of $55.00 per hour.
Applicants must provide qualifying credentials:
• Official Transcripts and any applicable Certification -Licensed Mental Health Therapist
• Complete employment requirements, trainings and required Background checks
Effective 4/4/2018, All applicants must present a letter from the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) stating that the applicant has no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect. The link can be found under the "Employment" tab on the district website, and choosing "Background Check Requirements".
