Business Systems Analyst

Overview Important: This is a hybrid role working at least 2 days per week in the Irving, TX office. How You’ll Make an Impact Epsilon is seeking a Business Systems Analyst who will contribute to, produce, and manage client deliverables relative to our multi-channel marketing engagements for Automotive, serving as a liaison between client staff and internal Epsilon technical delivery teams. Your role is to work to understand the business needs and translate those into workable solutions, ensuring accurate and timely delivery and participating in all phases of the systems development life cycle. This role reports to the Director, Business Systems Analysis. What You’ll Achieve Impact: You will act as a subject matter expert (SME) in multiple business systems analysis disciplines (marketing, reporting, operations, data, interactive, QA, or digital). You will support and coordinate the marketing campaign, reporting and database processes, and associated tasks such as requirements, functional specification, and other client documentation Career Growth: If successful, the Business Systems Analyst may gain exposure to other clients where you can make the most impact. Who You Are What you’ll bring with you: Can analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems Able to assess a situation, receive input from stakeholders, and select a course of action Able to clearly communicate and articulate, both written and verbally, detailed specifications (e.g., project requirements, requested changes, and testing results) Able to create and update specs/documents, and assess completeness of requirements information received Able to properly interpret customer marketing needs, and translate them into understandable written requirements Able to demonstrate a strong technical platitude, and understand both business and technical language and ideas Can schedule and lead team status meetings and send follow-up notes with action items accordingly Can monitor overall project progress and delivery quality Has strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent drive, initiative, and sense of personal accountability, and strong project management skills. Initiative – Ability to assemble, analyze, and evaluate data and be able to make appropriate and well-reasoned recommendations and decisions to support the business, its marketing objectives, and internal project teams. Problem-Solving – Ability to support and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing, and associated activities such as test plans, test cases, and test execution. Collaboration – Effective working with local, remote, and global team members. Organization – Ability to manage and prioritize project work streams with input from the client and internal client services teams. Be able to prioritize work and shift priorities as needed to meet aggressive deadlines and milestones.
