What You'll Do:
As a Speech Pathologist, you will:
- Assess and Diagnose: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for school-aged children.
- Develop Individualized Plans: Create and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
- Therapeutic Intervention: Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with Educators and Families: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support each child's communication goals.
- Monitor Progress: Regularly evaluate and document students' progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
- Advocate for Students: Serve as a resource and advocate for children with speech and language disorders within the school community.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Georgia state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility for license).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Prior experience working with school-aged children and formulating IEP's is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
