Kontoor Brands' Summer Intern Program is packed with projects, networking socials, cross-functional learning, and the chance to connect with industry trailblazers like our Executive Leadership Team. Previous interns have taken on projects as subject matter experts and social architects to engineer solutions through social media, Go-To-Market strategies, and denim designs.

Our 10-week, full-time paid internship runs from May 27th - August 1st. Start your journey with us and take your career to the next level

Program Overview:

  • 10-week term: May 27th - August 1st
  • Full-time paid internship
  • Must be local or willing to relocate to Greensboro, NC

  • Eligible to work in the US without restrictions
  • Have previously demonstrated leadership skills through school, extracurricular activities and/or community involvement

  • A self-starter, ability to work with others in a team environment, with a passion for helping others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)

Job Title: Security Governance Intern

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting through the CISO Organization, this role will drive the implementation of a strong security governance program, including Kontoor's Compliance initiatives, IT Risk Management Program, awareness communications, training, reporting and cybersecurity policy development on behalf of the CISO.

  • Support documentation of information security policies and coordinate annual policy reviews.
  • Assist in development of updated Privacy Workflow processes.
  • Assist technology owners in development and updating documentation of IT process flows and identifying control process gaps and efficiency opportunities
  • High level knowledge of various regulatory frameworks (ISO, NIST, SOX, etc.) desirable
  • Ability to develop working relationships with internal stakeholders
