Immediate need for an Acute Care or Adult Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospitalist team in Vermont with 133 licensed beds. Our experienced staff has served the community since 2000 and work closely with our numerous specialists, clinical support staff, and community partners to deliver expert care to our patients. The Hospitalist admissions' team consists of a Hospitalist and a Nurse Practitioner to support our ED staff from 11 am until 9 pm to meet the needs of those patients requiring admission to the hospital. In addition to supporting the Admitter the Nurse Practitioner assists the Inpatient Rounding teams as needed to meet patient needs on a daily basis. Shifts consist of 10 hours; admitter shifts are 11am-9pm and rounding shifts are 7am-5pm.

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Minimum Education: Master's Degree in Nursing or Graduate of an American Medical Association approved Physician Assistant educational Program. Must have 2 years of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience in Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Gerontology.

Required Licenses/Certifications: Registration with the Vermont State Education Department as a Nurse Practitioner and Certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or equivalent certifying bodies, or

Registration with the Vermont State Board of Medical Practice as a Physician's Assistant and certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on the Certification of Physicians Assistants.

Department specific certifications as required (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC, CPI) per specific department operational framework.
