Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Location: Dallas TX
Duration: Fulltime

Job Description: The ServiceNow lead will work very closely with the IT Architect, IT support teams and customer support teams to deliver solutions for their needs. The chosen individual will be responsible for new and existing development on the Now Platform. They will interact directly with stakeholders to record use cases, write stories and ultimately deliver the solution to the requester. Project work is managed in an agile structure.

Job Duties:

Work with the business to define stories and then build, test and deliver the solution that meets the stakeholders' needs.

Configure, enhance, and maintain ServiceNow platform across multiple ServiceNow modules, including IT Service Management (ITSM), Customer Service Management (CSM), and Hardware Asset Management (HAM).

Develop solutions across the ServiceNow platform to utilize automation and integration capabilities of ServiceNow, focused on leveraging business services with out-of-the-box capabilities

Influence the business on the evolution of the ServiceNow platform

Assist with performing upgrades to the ServiceNow platform

Qualifications / Other Expectations:

Ideal candidate should have deep expertise in configuring and scripting ServiceNow technologies.

Experienced in End-to-End System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes including customer requirement analysis, system design, testing and implementation.

The role requires the candidate to be hands-on with internal stakeholders, so communication skills are a must-have.

At least 3+ years of experience developing on a technology platform.

At least 2+ years of experience in design and implementation of ServiceNow Platform

Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, , XML, JSON, REST/SOAP integrations.

Administration of a ServiceNow instance, including the allocation of permissions of roles/groups, modification of ESC Portal, CSM Portal, Community, Engagement Messenger and Virtual agent, Workflow, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI actions, UI policies, ACLs, Client Scripts, Data Policies, Inbound Actions, Import Sets and Catalog Items (Order Guides/Record Producers).

Optional experience with UI Builder

Knowledge of architecture principles for cloud-based platforms

Strong problem-solving skills; ability to simplify complex situations

Comfortable working with ambiguity and change

Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, OIDC, REST.

Credentials:
• Preferred - bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Preferred - ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Preferred - ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
