What You Will Do: Develop and maintain Databricks workspaces and write ETL scripts for seamless ingestion of customer data, optimizing data flow and quality Write and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines to integrate data ingestion with various applications and services, utilizing Databricks parameterization for flexibility Aggregate and roll up analyses for exporting results from Databricks experiments, ensuring data is actionable and readily available for reporting Assist in developing web visualizations that effectively communicate meaningful data to customers Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications for new application features and enhancements Contribute to architectural and technical decisions and provide expertise in code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices Ensure the quality and performance of applications by implementing version control (Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices Contribute to the creation of new solutions and troubleshoot / optimize existing solutions to improve performance and reliability Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Proven experience in data engineering, with expertise in Databricks and Azure Data Factory 2 years of professional experience Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and analytics methodologies Proficiency in writing SQL and experience with cloud data storage solutions Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with early-stage product development Proven track record of deploying products in dynamic environments Familiarity with machine learning concepts and predictive modeling techniques Experience in working with large datasets and data architecture best practices Ability to wear multiple hats and plug into different roles as product develops Desire to be in a fast-moving, agile environment with willingness to adjust quickly Openness to experimental approaches typical of tech start-ups Willingness to learn new skills and technical languages as needed A trusted partner at nearly three million customer locations, Ecolab (ECL) is a global sustainability leader offering water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and the resources vital to life.
