About the Product Trainer:

MarketStar is looking for a Product Trainer to support our Bird team team. As a Product Trainer, you will play a vital role in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of our employees. The ideal candidate should be passionate about employee learning, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong ability to engage and motivate learners.

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

What Will You Do?

  • Design and create comprehensive training programs and materials that effectively cover product features, benefits, and usage.
  • Ensure training materials are up-to-date with the latest product enhancements and changes.
  • Lead training sessions for new and existing employees, customers, and partners.
  • Utilize various training methods, including in-person, virtual, and on-demand training formats.
  • Conduct assessments to identify training needs among employees, customers, and partners.
  • Customize training programs to address specific needs and knowledge gaps.
  • Keep abreast of product updates, new features, and industry trends.
  • Ensure training materials and sessions reflect the latest product information
  • Collaborate with product development and marketing teams during product launches.
  • Develop training programs to educate internal teams and customers about new products and features.
  • Offer ongoing support to trainees post-training to ensure they can effectively use and demo the product.
  • Tailor training content and delivery to suit different audiences, such as sales teams, technical support, and end-users.
  • Work with sales and marketing function to support creation of content for specific personas and industries centred around product value
  • Serve as product subject matter expert with acute understanding of the client's value proposition from both a technical and business prospective new clients
  • Understand the competitive landscape and coach reps to win
What Will You Need to Succeed?
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical training role; developer experience an advantage
  • Successful track record in designing training programs, delivering training content, and engaging with training cohorts both in-person and remotely.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, business, or related field preferred
  • Tech-savvy with an affinity for innovative and emerging technology
  • Strong technical or technology product focussed background with aptitude to understand
  • Hands-on experience in technology and SaaS product demonstration and training and ability to provide real-world examples and insights
  • Strong communication and presenting skills
  • Ability to engage with and motivate sales professionals of all levels of experience and tenure
  • Adaptable and dynamic
  • Strong Analytical and Assessment Skills
  • Highly organised and detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills supported by an energetic and engaging attitude
  • Ability to be flexible and agile in responding to evolving business priorities and dealing with ambiguity
  • Collaborative. Partnering across the organization and with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, proactive team player with innovative ideas
  • Self-reliant, adaptable, decisive, and professional; able to effectively multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Fluent English Speaker with additional language a benefit
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, Microsoft Office, GSuite, and general sales tools such as CRMs.
