We are seeking a Sr Lead in Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM) Technology-Eagle Development team, responsible for requirement gathering, analysis, design, development & maintenance using Eagle suite of products, Eagle Accounting Center, Eagle Reference data Management Center, Portfolio Data Management Center, Portfolio Performance Returns Management Center, Eagle REST API interfaces, Eagle ML objects, EDS/Eagle Data Services, Eagle Integration Workflow Studio, Eagle Panels, Web Panel Designer, Eagle Message Center Streams module, Eagle Automation Center, Eagle RTR & TSR, Eagle Global Processing Center, Eagle Metadata Center

Candidate should be comfortable with both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, offered as part of vendor suite of products Eagle version 2017 & up.

Candidate will work closely with NTAM business partners understanding the requirements and converting those requirements into software solutions using Eagle suite of products and NTAM Custom Applications built to enable data-in and data-out of Eagle Platform.

Candidate will be leading the Eagle technology development scrum team and supporting multiple development initiatives to meet NTAM business requirements.

You will be a key member of a cross functional scrum team following Agile development methodologies.

Qualifications - Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop processes reading data from multiple source systems and loading it into Eagle database hosted in vendor cloud infrastructure.
  • Design detailed technical solutions using vendor product suite Eagle version 17
  • Develop solutions in Integration and Workflow Studio (IWS) module offered in Eagle product.
  • Develop custom front end solutions (panels) using Eagle web panel designer module.
  • Design and develop backend message center streams using message center editor module in Eagle
  • Provide expertise in designing solutions for capital market domain data
  • Design, develop and unit test components as required.
  • Consult with business partners on requirements and synthesize into technical requirements and designs
  • On the technical side, work with architects, designers and enterprise framework groups on the best solution for both business and IT
  • Execute data migration projects for NTAM business to convert multiple business areas, gather data from different internal platforms and onboard it into single Eagle accounting platform.
  • Maintain single platform solution for accounting and reporting data requirements for NTAM business using Eagle product version 17.
  • Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions.
  • Ensure code meets standards and tested appropriate
  • Responsible for identifying and fixing any environmental issues related to Eagle product suite.
  • Responsible for design and develop ETL solutions using Snowflake Cloud warehousing technologies and IBM infosphere Datastage to support NTAM business data transformation needs.
  • Responsible for Application-specific, Level 3 support and enhancements in existing technical components.
Experience / Qualifications:
  • Looking for senior candidate with 15+ years of experience with education in computer software field.
  • Experience and Knowledge of Eagle suite of products version 17 & up.
  • Strong understanding of capital market domain data and how accounting is done using Eagle product.
  • Hands-on experience in developing processes using multiple Eagle product offerings like IWS, Panels, Message center streams.
  • Experienced in Unix shell scripting for complex file processing and data cleansing. Analytical and problem-solving skills. A positive goal-oriented attitude with a focus on delivery.
  • Experienced in developing Oracle database processes e.g. PL/SQL. Stored procedures, functions etc.
  • Experienced in executing projects in Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Experienced in scheduling tools like Control-M
  • Experience in IBM Infosphere Datastage ETL tool would be a plus.
